Over 250,000 children (2 in 5 children) in San Diego live in households that can’t provide consistent access to enough healthy food regularly. Lack of nutrition affects the physical development of a child’s ability to concentrate and learn.
At The Sach Foundation, we believe in the investment of the “whole” child and his/her family. For this purpose, the program will work on the internal and external wellbeing of a child to meet their social, emotional, educational, and physical needs.
The Sach Foundation’s ACCESS program will provide developmental resources to the selected students and their families. By providing these resources, the intention is to remove as many barriers as possible to allow the students to flourish in school and succeed in life.
The program will provide a grant for the school year to each approved child and his/her family.
Access to quality early childhood education for disadvantaged families is essential for a thriving economy—and produces gains that span multiple generations.
